Why Greta?
Greta is portrayed by the writers as nothing more than a dead character with no Salem ties. Well we the fans do not agree. In these five years Greta has brought something special to DOOL, something special the show was lacking. We believe Greta brings in innocence, charm, humor and charisma. Without Greta the show would be full of evil characters, without hardly any good to balance out the bad ones. None of Greta's special charm would exist with out her portrayer Julianne Morris, who like Greta, is a special lady. Now the show insists Greta has no family ties, well who's fault is that? Not Julianne's, not Greta's. Its Ken Corday's writers. We adore Greta and as fans of hers we want nothing more than a storyline for Salem's sweetheart. We'd also like to see a love intrest, and for goodness sake reveal her father. If she needs ties, then make her father John Black like the show has hinted at before. Greta could become such a amazing, wonderful character on DAYS if the writers and Corday just wouldn't give up. Julianne is a fan favorite and an asset to this show. Greta is as close to 'real' on DAYS as one gets, she's easy for you to identify with. And we the fans refuse to give up on our character.
