Dear Mr. Corday,
We faithful viewers of Days of our Lives are feeling disappointed. You stated soon after you relieved Tom Langan of his head writer duties, that Days of our Lives would improve.
You also stated you would listen to the fans, take their voices into concern, and do your best to act on their pleas. Well, no sooner after you said those things, you fired Julianne Morris, and axed the character of Greta von Amburg. Well, we the fans are not happy with your decision. Julianne is a wonderful actress, and all because your writers gave her dead material for all the years she has been apart of Days of our Lives, is no reason to end her character. I don't know if you realize this, but Greta is a fan favorite. Greta is a favorite among viewers due to Greta's charm, innocence, charisma, all only believeable due to Julianne's incredible acting ability. You say Greta is a dead-end character, with nowhere to go. Well, you are wrong. What about Greta's father? Give her a love intrest! There are plenty of stories untold about Greta, plenty of stories viewers would love to hear. You say Greta has no ties to core families in Salem, we believe you are wrong. Greta has interacted with Alice, Hope, Bo, John, Marlena, Jack and Jennifer, among many others. The wonderful thing is that she has chemistry with all these characters! Given the appropriate material, Julianne can shine, and maybe even be the next Emmy nominee for DAYS. We write you to beg you to reconsider your decision on firing Julianne. There is so much more to be told about Greta, we are still awaiting her amazing story you have yet to tell. We fail to understand why you want to destroy one of the most favorite characters among fans.
